Your safety is more important than a single order. If a restaurant receives your request and determines they cannot safely prepare your meal (due to shared kitchen space or pre-mixed ingredients), here is what happens:
Notification: You will receive a push notification and an in-app alert stating the restaurant cannot accommodate your request.
Order Options: You will usually have 10 minutes to either:
Modify the item: Choose a different dish that is safe for you.
Cancel the order: Cancel the entire order for a full refund.
Automatic Cancellation: If you don't respond within 10 minutes, we will automatically cancel the order to ensure you don't receive unsafe food. You will not be charged for cancellations made by the restaurant for safety reasons.
